Rowing National Championships 2018

Well done to all our rowers who competed in the National Rowing Championships at Mazowe Dam – showing real perseverance in the unfavourable weather conditions.

Kenneth Raynor came first in the Men's A Scull
Lindsay Edwards came second in the Women's A Scull

Kenneth Raynor and Brendan Eggersglusz came 1st in the Men's A Double Scull and set a new course record breaking the old record previously held by Peterhouse Boat Club oarsmen Murray Faber and Michael Johnson set in 2012

World Scholars Cup Zimbabwe Regional Round 2018

Peterhouse had an opportunity to host the second Zimbabwe regional round a total of 150 students took part. The following schools took part:-Arundel School, Eaglesvale, Hellenic, Prince Edward School, Peterhouse Boys and Peterhouse Girls. The two day tournament took place over the fixture free weekend (27- 28 January 2018).

A team of forty eight boys and six girls represented the Peterhouse group of schools. The student competed and did well in the six subject areas and the four team events. The team events included team debate, collaborative writing, scholars challenge and the scholars bowl.

Interhouse Cross Country 2018

Well done to all girls who participated in this year’s Interhouse Cross Country. Thankfully the weather managed to hold out despite the looming clouds and we finished the event.

Mashonaland Country Districts Swimming - Senior Team 2018

The following swimmers have qualified to represent the Province at The Zimbabwe Senior National Swimming Championships which will be held in Bulawayo from the 16th to 20th February 2018. Congratulations. We know that you will swim your hearts out!

D Block Base Camp 2018

86 D Block girls were accompanied by 13 members of staff and 6 OBZ instructors into Calderwood Park for the first phase of the 4-year Outdoor Education Programme.

The girls spent 3 days and 2 nights in Calderwood Park, getting to know one another in their Tutor Groups, and as a Block, learning about wilderness survival skills, and appreciating the beautiful Zimbabwean environment, all the while growing in strength and character.
