The successful candidate will be a highly organised and motivated individual with previous administrative experience and strong IT skills.

Duties will include (but will not be restricted to): maintaining staff and pupil files, dealing with all email and other correspondence to/from the Head, arranging appointments for the Head and liaising with other office staff. Being able to multi-task and work to deadlines is essential.

SENIOR CHAPLAIN for

This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to join Zimbabwe’s leading independent school as Senior Chaplain.

The Peterhouse Group of Schools, with approximately 1,100 pupils, is looking to appoint a Senior Chaplain for Springvale House, Peterhouse Girls and Peterhouse Boys. Peterhouse was founded as an Anglican independent boarding school. The successful applicant will be an ordained priest of the Anglican Communion and have attended or had experience within the independent boarding school sector. He will also have a Degree/Diploma in Theology or Pastoral Ministry.

The Chaplain’s role is essential in shaping and fostering the Christian ethos and culture within the Peterhouse Group; the successful applicant is likely to have had experience in the mentoring/leading of young people from various cultural backgrounds.

The successful applicant will be a strong communicator, able to engage and hold an audience of 500 teenagers and teach smaller groups, and will be experienced in the pastoral care of young people and adults.
